School Resumption: List of States in Nigeria that have declared School Resumption Dates.

Just of recent the Federal Government gave state governments and school administrators in the country chances to pick when schools will resume in their different states. What this infers is that it is left for the different state Commissioner of Educations and administratives to decide the date for school resumption in their different states.

States and schools are however in a direct danger as each states and schools are to bear the consequences of the outcome.


Each schools are meant to follow the rules and regulations that has been laid down and they are to strictly follow and adhere to it. We all hope this works out well so that we can have more schools opening in each states.

The regulations involves the use of nose mask, social distancing, hand washing and sanitizers so as to maintain adequate and proper health care.
However, some states has declared their own resumption dates for schools to resume. While others are still yet to come up with their own dates.

Universities that are under ASUU may not resume now, cause it seems there are not yet ready and moreover their strike is still on.


The following are list of States that have reported Resumption date for schools

1) Lagos State – September 14th.

2) Kogi State – September 14th.

3) Osun State – September 21st.

4) Delta State – September 21st.

5) Anambra State – September 7th.

6) Ogun State – September 21st.
