WAEC Set new rules for conduct of 2020 WASSCE 



Mr Godfred Addo speaking in a Zoom interview monitored by Our informant umerah  Rapheal said;



1. WAEC will provide all invigilators with hand gloves to enable them to thoroughly search the candidates before the start of the examination each day.





2. It will also provide alcohol based-hand sanitizers to invigilators as part of measures to slow the spread of the novel virus. Both students and invigilators will be made to wash their hands under running water with soap before the start and after the examination.



3. Mr. Godfred said to ensure maximum social distancing, each classroom will contain at least 25 candidates depending on the class size.



4. Candidates are to report 1 hour before the commencement of the examination, according to the Head of Examination, the Council will not tolerate lateness at the examination centre.



5. The wearing of face masks is mandatory for candidates, invigilators and supervisors, candidates without face masks will not be allowed entry into the examination hall.
