GETTING JOBS IN NIGERIA TODAY

Nigeria is a country with more than 180 million people. It is a country where jobs are very difficult to come by even after having perfect grades in the university or any other institution going out there to get jobs is still very difficult not to talk of an average student who graduated with average grades. This article  strictly addresses young people who still depend on the government to provide jobs, but come to think of it you cant just go through the walls of a university for about 4 to 5 years and not think about the future because generally the university is not just to build yourself up academically but also to build oneself in character and capacity. It dosent just end there but also meeting people,making connections and starting up relationships.

Now this is where I’m going an average Nigerian should understand how things works in this country or even anywhere in the world that In most cases you need to know someone or have a strong connection to get that job, that Is your father might know someone in the company u applied for employment or you have an uncle who is a top executive that could help you. Also in some other cases u might have a friend that is in that position or knows someone in that position.The fact is since you know this is what works (except in some exceptional cases) why not play the game too where ever u are make connections, start relationships ,have a good rapport with everybody around you, exchange contacts with the reasonable people you meet, you just dont know who could assist you in this life.

However if you choose not to play by that rule I will suggest you use the technique described as the critical analysis of your environment which means fishing out problems people are suffering in your environment and find solution to the problem. Everybody has the capacity to be a problem solver and once the solution is found. It is forever yours and that’s how you start something that makes your environment pay you in cash. Also if u decide to major in academics don’t just settle for just your first degree, get other certification that makes your kind of person scarce build up yourself professionally, read books, connect with people ,gather experiences and above all pray to God.
